What is it?

Pick the winning card out of two. Skill plays no part whatsoever. It is entirely luck.

Every hit stretches the odds you have beaten so far: 1/2, 1/4, 1/8, 1/16. Ten in a row is 1/1,024.

One miss takes all of it. You can stop at any point and keep the record. The whole game is deciding when to stop.

How to play

Ways to use it

  • Alone

    One run as your daily fortune

    One run, and see how far the streak goes. Three in a row means it is a good day. Roughly that level of seriousness.

  • Two people

    First to five in a row

    Take turns; first to five straight wins. That is 1/32, so it takes longer to settle than you would think.

  • Three or more

    Shortest streak pays

    One run each, and whoever has the shortest streak picks up the bill. Far better than drawing straws.
