A record of what was added and what changed.

  1. Update

    Now available in English

The whole site now reads in English. Switch from the top right, at the end of the breadcrumb row.

Japanese pages keep their URLs. English lives under `/en`. Links that have already been shared still work exactly as before.

**Nothing switches automatically.** If someone shares a Japanese link and the reader's settings quietly serve them English instead, they open something other than what was shared. Use the switch yourself.

The 16 quiz types are not machine translated — they were rewritten so the jokes land in English, titles included. Dopa Typing is the exception: it is a game about typing Japanese in romaji, and that does not change in either language.

  2. New

    Added "Dopa Chicken"

Pick the winning card out of two. There is no skill component. It is entirely luck.

Every correct pick stretches the odds you have beaten so far: 1/2, then 1/4, then 1/8. Ten in a row is 1/1,024. Miss once and it all goes back to zero.

You can stop at any point and keep the record. The whole game is deciding when to stop. Walk away and you win.

  3. Doppa says

It is live. Have a go if you like.

I am Doppa, and I make Doppadopa.

I like things loud. Games and anime dissolve entire days. I cannot wait, I cannot stay, and I get distracted.

That is why I built the Dopamine Brain Quiz. Every line of it is written about myself, which I think gives it a certain authority. It is self-deprecation. Please take it personally.

Nothing complicated here — I just want to keep adding small things you can enjoy in two or three minutes. If a result makes you go "that is literally me", sharing it on X or using it as something to talk about with friends genuinely keeps me building the next one.

  4. Notice

    Doppadopa is open

Doppadopa is live. It is a place for things you can play the moment you open the page — no install, no sign-up.

There are three of them right now.

Dopa Typing asks you to type each word before it gets away. Every word you clear spins the slot reels, and three of a kind is a jackpot: more time on the clock and triple score. You will want a keyboard, and it is typed in Japanese romaji.

The Dopamine Brain Quiz sorts you into one of 16 types from twenty everyday questions. You get your own character, plus a read on love, friends, games and money — and a prescription. It works entirely on a phone.

Dopa Chicken is pure luck: keep picking the right card out of two. Every hit stretches the odds you have beaten, and one miss takes all of it. The only decision is when to stop.

More will follow, a bit at a time.

    Advertising and getting in touch

Want to advertise, write about the site, report a bug, or ask for something? All of it goes to the same inbox.

There are two ad placements: the top of the home page and the result screens. Sizes are fixed, and the rate is 7,777 yen per slot per month. Nothing appears mid-game or mid-quiz. Enjoying the thing comes first, and that part is not going to change.

The site is still small. If you ask, I will tell you the numbers as they are. I am not going to dress them up.

Email is the main channel. I run this alone, so replies are slow — but I read everything.
